stained glass

one of the highlights of chicago was visiting navy pier, the beautiful boardwalk in chicago. one of the exhibits there was a stained glass museum that marsha & i checked out.

it was exciting in that we were 'stealing' art (taking pictures of course). at first we weren't sure we could do this until we saw other folk doing the same, which is pretty much my rule of thumb when it comes to photography: if you're unsure whether or not to take pictures, wait 'til you see someone else doing the same, then go crazy.

in either case, it turned out that neither of us were big fans of stained glass. that, plus the sunny skies outdoors caused us to ditch the museum halfway through, but in the meantime we got some wicked pics.

in this shot, marsha is emulating the woman in the wall. i love the silhouette effect i captured by leaving the flash off. but then, marsha knows how to do good photo.
