the only reason for this post is to rejoice in the fact that i'm *finally* up to date on my flickr.

i started 'flickring' in 2008, and was posting pics from the beginning of the year. as a result, there was a long time delay in when i took a picture and when it made it up to the web.

it took me 'til the end of may 2009, but i've finally reached the point where my most recent pics are on flickr. going forward, i conceivable could take pics on a thursday and have them uploaded on the same day (if i choose to).

of course, being 'caught up' now isn't entirely true; i have not uploaded any of my vacay pics from this year (a 2 week cruise, and a weekend in chicago). but sooner than later, those too will be up there.

as for the pic? it was taken saturday (my most recent pics). also, to counter any ideas that i could be homophobic from the prior post, i figured two mannequins in designer underwear did the job.

it's a saturday, it's 7:30am, and i'm about to go in for my 13th day in a row of work. yet i'm not going to be a 'grouch' about it.

me and my beloved fuji camera. sighs.

for two plus years, i've made much use of this old gem. it's on it's last legs unfortunately, as technology and 'extended zoom' functionality has made me eager to purchase a new camera...the canon sx 200 is is where it's at.

if one is going to spend that much money on a camera, they are going to want it to be pretty. and that's precisely what i've been waiting for. it's supposed to be available in red, though i have yet to see it.

but i'm checking again tonight, and hopefully i'll have a new camera to take all my pictures with.

though he recently made the 'emashipation of mimi' megamix for me, garth first created this epic 18 minute plus megamix for my birthday many many moons ago.

i stumbled upon these videos that somebody edited together to the audio of the epic video. quite an enormous task but i think it worked out pretty well.
