you oughtta know...

i'm off to see kylie minogue in concert friday for the first time.

so in the meantime, here's a pic of alanis i was able to take from around the same time last year (my first time seeing alanis live!)

saw alanis tonight! was the first and time, and it was SUCH a blast. the highlight for me (other than getting some usher really angry cuz i was using my camera) was the sing-a-long i got to participate in.

imagine 10,000 alanis fans, after having gotten to see alanis perform for 2 hours, on their feet, hands clapping, with alanis trading lines with the audience who is overpowering her.

i was almost in tears, it was such an awesome experience.

that, and i think i saw the guy who runs out is through, but i'm not sure it was him. (his blog is absolutely fabulous; he's a big alanis fan and writes about all sorts of neat pop culture stuff.) not sure it was him, but between finding out about that and finding a video of the singalong (at least 20 other people were avidly using their cameras in the front few rows) so i'll hopefully have a link up here soon.
