mariah day!

her new album 'memoirs of an imperfect album' was released.

i went to best buy today to purchase the album and they were already running low on copies. but i did manage to pick myself up the 2 disc special edition (includes bonus remixes of 'obsessed' and the two obsessed videos).

it was a big music shopping day, as both madonna & jann arden (two of my favourite artists outside of mariah) released albums. madonna's was a greatest hits, and i managed to also pick up her video collection released today. had to ask though, as for some reason all copies of it were still in the back.

yes this is not a beach, u're not reading this incorrectly. however, this was taken from the toronto island ferry, which i'll be on in a couple of hours, heading towards the beach for a wonderful sun-filled picnic.
